Selected work Freight & logistics

From freight enquiry to a connected freight operating system.

Jenik Freight was operating across WhatsApp, email, paper forms, Wave invoicing and manual processes. Nadmaa designed and delivered a connected platform that carries freight from enquiry and pricing through quotation, payment, shipment operations, carrier tracking and customer visibility.

The shipment moved. The information had to keep up.

Before

Customer enquiries, freight details, invoices and status communication were spread across WhatsApp, email, paper forms, Wave and manual handoffs. Each handoff created another opportunity to recreate information or lose context.

The design question

How do you capture freight information once, apply the right pricing and controls, and keep that commercial record connected as the job becomes an invoice, payment, shipment, carrier event and customer update?

One request. One connected flow.

01EnquiryShipment data captured
02Price & quoteAutomated or controlled review
03Accept & payInvoice + live Stripe
04OperateShipment or consolidation
05TrackCMA CGM-connected status
06Self-servicePortal, documents, support

Automation where rules are clear. Human control where freight needs judgement.

Nadmaa did not force every shipment through the same workflow. Each freight product follows the commercial and operational controls it actually needs.

02 · Standard Air

Structured quoting with review built in.

The customer submits route, packages, cargo and handling requirements. The platform normalizes the request and preserves staff review where carrier availability, cargo acceptance and commercial conditions need confirmation.

03 · Ocean FCL

Commercial estimates connected to CMA CGM schedules and tracking.

Direct FCL uses Jenik pricing rules while CMA CGM connectivity enriches the operational journey with schedule, booking and shipment-event information.

The quote becomes the beginning of operations.

01

Quote to payment

Customer acceptance can continue into invoicing and Jenik's live Stripe payment capability while the commercial record stays linked to the freight request.

02

Consolidated cargo

Staff can create shared departures, link customer quotes, review packages, prepare AWB information, assign pickup work and manage common shipment status.

03

CMA CGM connectivity

Schedules, booking references and carrier events can connect to Jenik shipment records and map into customer-friendly shipment stages.

04

Customer self-service

Quotes, invoices, payments, shipments, tracking, agreements, documents and support are available through one customer portal.

05

Operational control

Teams work across quote pipeline, shipments, consolidated cargo, invoices, customers, freight rates, support and operational settings.

06

Executive visibility

Management can see quote pipeline, shipment status, invoices, payments, receivables, customers and support queues from the shared records.

Not a new website. A new operating flow.

Before

WhatsApp · Email · Paper forms · Wave · Separate calculations · Separate status communication

After

Structured enquiry → Pricing → Quote → Acceptance → Invoice → Stripe → Shipment → CMA tracking → Portal → Reporting

The improvement was not simply putting freight online. It was stopping the operation from being rebuilt by hand at every handoff.

The opportunity is usually in the work happening between your systems.

Led by Andrew Ukegbu, Nadmaa starts with business analysis: map the process, handoffs, business rules, data and exceptions. Then we decide what should be connected, what should be automated and what genuinely needs to be built.

Fix the process. Connect the systems. Build what's missing.

Bring us the operating problem.

You do not need to know the technology answer. We can map the workflow with you and identify what is worth fixing first.
